We are recruiting Hygiene Operatives on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Haverhill. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established production environment where you''ll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance across the site.
The Role

As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring production areas, machinery, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards. Working as part of the hygiene team, you''ll help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning production lines, machinery, and equipment
• Carrying out scheduled deep-cleaning activities
• Ensuring all hygiene procedures are followed correctly
• Safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Completing cleaning records and documentation accurately
• Supporting production teams to ensure operational efficiency
• Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing, or food production environment is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible approach to work and shift requirements
• Understanding of food safety standards would be advantageous
