Title: Hygiene Operative
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Shift: Days
Salary: £30,705 per annum

Hygiene Operative Overview:
Responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards across production areas, ensuring compliance with Food, Feed, GMP and Health & Safety requirements.

Hygiene Operative Responsibilities:

• Daily and deep cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment.
• Strip down and reassemble machinery for cleaning when required.
• Complete hygiene checks and maintain accurate standards.
• Ensure safe use of cleaning equipment, PPE, and chemicals.
• Report hazards, incidents, or hygiene issues promptly.

Hygiene Operative Skills:

• Understanding of (or willingness to learn) Food, Feed and Chemical Safety.
• Previous hygiene/cleaning experience in a production setting (advantageous).
• Physically fit, self-motivated, and proactive with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team, often under time pressure.
• Confident communicator, comfortable in hot, loud factory environments.
• Ability (with training) to work at height and in confined spaces.
• Reliable transport – site is in a rural location with limited public transport.
