Hygiene Manager Manufacturing Location: Blackpool Salary: £50,000 Hours: Monday to Friday A well-established manufacturing business in Blackpool is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to lead and develop the site s hygiene function. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the hygiene team to ensure all site areas meet strict hygiene and safety standards. Develop and implement hygiene schedules, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards. Manage hygiene budgets, chemical usage, and contractor performance. Work closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment. Provide training and guidance to ensure a strong hygiene culture across all departments. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Hygiene Manager within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. Strong understanding of hygiene, microbiological standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Capable of driving performance through effective people management and attention to detail. Confident working cross-functionally and delivering improvements across teams.
