A leading manufacturing business based in Blackpool is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to take ownership of site hygiene standards and drive best practice across the operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused individual to play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and pest control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Lead and manage all site hygiene activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
• Take ownership of pest control management, working closely with external providers where required
• Develop and implement robust cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
• Ensure the site meets all food safety / hygiene regulations (where applicable)
• Conduct regular audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement
• Train and support staff to maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Act as the key point of contact for all hygiene-related matters on site

About You:

• Proven experience in a Hygiene Manager / Hygiene Lead role within manufacturing
• Strong experience or exposure to pest control management
• Good understanding of hygiene standards, audits, and compliance requirements
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident managing processes, people, and external contractors
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
