Hydraulics Fitter/Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering organisation in the Glasgow area for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter / Hydraulic Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business specialising in hydraulic systems, supporting a diverse range of marine, industrial and engineering projects.The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, mechanical fitting, and ideally the manufacture and assembly of hydraulic hose assemblies. A key part of this role will involve working on hydraulic cylinders/rams, hydraulic pumps and motors, and hydraulic power units (HPUs) across maintenance, overhaul and repair activities. The role offers varied and hands-on work, excellent overtime opportunities, and long-term career development within a respected engineering organisation.The position is primarily based in Glasgow; however, there may be occasional travel and short periods of working away on projects along the South Coast, typically involving only a few nights away at a time.Due to the nature of some projects, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain and repair hydraulic systems and components to industry and customer standards.Manufacture, assemble and test hydraulic hose assemblies and related hydraulic equipment.Carry out hydraulic fault finding, diagnostics, root cause analysis and repairs.Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings and technical ..... full job details .....
