Hydraulic Fitter / Hydraulic EngineerWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering organisation in the Glasgow area for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter / Hydraulic Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business specialising in hydraulic systems, supporting a diverse range of marine, industrial and engineering projects.The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, mechanical fitting and maintenance. We also welcome applications from candidates with experience in hydraulic hose assembly manufacturing, fluid power systems, marine engineering or industrial maintenance environments.The position is primarily based in Glasgow and across the Central Belt; however, there may be occasional requirements to work away on customer sites along the South Coast, typically involving only a few nights away at a time.This role offers varied and hands-on work, excellent overtime opportunities and long-term career development within a respected engineering organisation.Due to the nature of some projects, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain and repair hydraulic systems and components in line with industry standards.Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, root cause analysis and repairs on hydraulic equipment.Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings and engineering documentation.Assemble, overhaul and refurbish hydraulic cylinders, valves, pumps and ..... full job details .....
