Hydraulic Systems Engineer Havant, Hampshire Permanent, full time Salary DOE-We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established marine equipment manufacturer for a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to join their busy Design and Engineering team. This is a hydraulics-led design role, well suited to an established hydraulic systems specialist. You''ll take ownership of hydraulic systems from concept through to commissioning, with real scope to optimise existing systems and help identify new areas of the market.What you''ll be doing: Designing, developing and optimising hydraulic systems for marine deck equipment, concept through to commissioningSpecifying and sizing hydraulic components pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, cylinders, filtration and pipeworkImproving and optimising existing/legacy systems, plus upgrades and obsolescence managementIdentifying new applications and opportunities to develop the product rangeHands-on support during build, assembly, test and validation (FAT/HAT)Producing hydraulic schematics, technical drawings, BOMs and test reportsWorking alongside Electrical, Mechanical, Project and Production teamsEngaging directly with customers and yards to deliver technical solutions What we''re looking for: Proven hydraulic systems experience: power and motion systems (pumps, motors, actuators, manifolds)Depth in hydraulic system design, analysis and troubleshootingAbility to optimise existing systems and spot commercial/technical opportunitiesComponent specification ..... full job details .....
