      <description>Location: Stocksbridge | Salary: &amp;pound;NEG | Type: Permanent | Are you a Hydraulic Modeller who has Tuflow and Flood Modeller experience? Would you like to join a supportive team of Engineers, based in Sheffield?  Candidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in the North of England and have a keen interest in climate change, flood risk modelling and drainage engineering.   Responsibilities    Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.  Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, nutrient neutrality assessments and drainage strategies.  Hydrological assessments.  Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.  Flood risk mapping and estimation.  Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.  Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
