Hydraulic Engineer

Hydraulics and Support Technician My client are seeking a technically skilled and hands-on Hydraulics and Support Technician to join the high-performance engineering team based in Southampton. This role combines workshop-based hydraulic and mechanical assembly work with regular international travel . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical or technical trade background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their skills across multiple disciplines. Key Responsibilities Build, service and test hydraulic manifolds and cylinders. Carry out mechanical daggerboard case fit-outs, installations and assembly work. Undertake mechanical winch and drivetrain installations. Maintain build documentation, quality records and testing procedures. Support hydraulic installations on new boats, components and upgrade packages. Manage stock, tooling and materials. Assist with general workshop and technical department activities as required. Skills and Experience Background in mechanics, fitting, machining, hydraulics, composites or a related technical trade. Strong practical skills using tools, machinery and hands-on assembly or repair techniques. Comfortable using computer systems and software. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexible and able to travel internationally when required.
