Plant Fitter – Hybrid (Workshop & Field)

£35,000 – £40,000 + company van & fuel card

Neos Engineering are partnered with a growing specialist in infrastructure solutions who are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join their close-knit team of engineers. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds — working 3–4 days in a well-equipped Chesterfield workshop and 1–2 days out in the field, carrying out service and repair on specialist drilling equipment and heavy plant machinery.

• Carry out maintenance and repair on drilling rigs, excavators, telehandlers, and power packs

• Perform hydraulic and electrical fault-finding and repair

• Undertake independent field service work, delivering high standards on-site

• Support workshop colleagues with scheduled maintenance and breakdowns

• Strong background in hydraulics and electrics (essential)

• Experience working with plant or drilling equipment

• Full UK driving licence

• Confident working independently, both in the workshop and on-site

• £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

• Company van & fuel card provided

• Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm (40-hour week, breaks included)
