      <description>Location: Swaffham | Salary: &amp;pound;400/day | Type: Contract | AVA Energy is recruiting experienced-HVDC Wiremen-to join a major HVDC Converter Station Programme.  Key Responsibilities    Installation and wiring of HVDC converter station equipment.   Electrical installation of control, protection and marshalling panels.   Cable installation, glanding and termination of HV, control and instrumentation cables.   Installation of cable tray, ladder rack and containment systems.   Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring schematics.   Carrying out point-to-point wiring checks.   Supporting pre-commissioning and testing activities.   Ensuring all work is completed safely and to project quality standards.   Essential Requirements    Previous experience working as an Electrical Wireman on HVDC, HV or Substation projects.   Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.   Experience with control and protection panel wiring.
