HVDC Wiremen (Multiple Contracts)

AVA Energy is recruiting experienced-HVDC Wiremen-to join a major HVDC Converter Station Programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and wiring of HVDC converter station equipment.
• Electrical installation of control, protection and marshalling panels.
• Cable installation, glanding and termination of HV, control and instrumentation cables.
• Installation of cable tray, ladder rack and containment systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Carrying out point-to-point wiring checks.
• Supporting pre-commissioning and testing activities.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to project quality standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Wireman on HVDC, HV or Substation projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with control and protection panel wiring.
• Approved Qualifications and Certifications-
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Right to work in the UK.
