HVAC Technician

We have an exciting HVAC Technician opportunity in a dynamic defence environment, supporting mission-critical infrastructure.The RoleBased in Fairford, UK you''ll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a UK Military base.Prior HVAC experience will be required, although additional training will be provided on site.This role is a fantastic chance for you to further develop your skills as a HVAC Technician, working on a diverse range of military equipment in an exciting environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms maintenance, repair, installation and operation of refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, combustible equipment, and related equipment itemsCompletes and quality checks maintenance records and documentation as requiredRepairs, installs, and operates refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, combustible equipment, and related equipment items. Associated with the GPMS ProgramInterprets electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and maintenance malfunction data to analyse malfunctions.Uses various test equipment, load banks and other diagnostic equipment as required by technical data to operate, maintain, inspect, test, repair, and reconstitute GPMS assets.Prepares GPMS assets/equipment for air/sea/road haul shipments in accordance with Technical Orders, Manuals, Checklists, Regulations, and Unit Type Code (UTC) Configuration listings.Prepares and completes required documentation to include DOD, USAF ..... full job details .....
