HVAC Maintenance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Manager to join a well-established mechanical engineering firm and play a pivotal role in launching and developing a new HVAC maintenance division.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded, technically strong individual who wants more than simply managing an existing maintenance team. You will have the freedom to shape the division, influence operational strategy and establish the systems, processes and standards that will underpin its long-term success.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will have a genuine say in how the division operates, from service delivery and recruitment to client relationships, commercial performance and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Division Development & Leadership

• Take ownership of establishing and developing the company''s HVAC maintenance division.

• Work with senior management to define the division''s strategy, objectives and growth plans.

• Develop operational procedures, maintenance standards and service delivery processes.

• Recruit, lead and develop a team of HVAC engineers and support staff as the division grows.

• Help shape the culture, structure and direction of the business, with the autonomy to make a real difference.

Operational Management

• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and remedial works across a portfolio of commercial HVAC systems.

• Manage engineer scheduling, resource allocation, workloads and service delivery.

• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

• Implement systems for tracking maintenance visits, job completion, outstanding remedials and equipment performance.
