HVAC Engineer Location: GatesheadSalary: £43,000 per annumWorking Hours: Monday Friday, 06 30Contract Type: PermanentSector: Facilities ManagementJob Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a facilities management team working within a large distribution centre in Gateshead.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HVAC professional to join a stable, site-based role with a leading facilities management provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC systems and associated building services, ensuring the site remains operational, safe, and compliant.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC systemsDiagnose faults and complete repairs across heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipmentService, inspect, and maintain HVAC plant and associated mechanical systemsMaintain and repair AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, pumps, valves, and associated equipmentRespond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding to minimise disruption to site operationsComplete maintenance records, job sheets, and reports accuratelyWork closely with the wider engineering team and site management to ensure service levels are maintainedEnsure all works are completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures and site requirements Requirements Previous experience working as an HVAC Engineer within a ..... full job details .....
