HVAC Engineer, Beeston, start 07/09/2026Location: Beeston, NG90 Start: Monday 07/09/2026 Duration: 2 months Hours: 40 hours per week, 7:30am-4:30pm Rate: 28.17 per hour Umbrella PAYE / 21.64 per hour PAYE We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer for a 2-month contract.Duties will include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceFault finding and repairs across HVAC plant and equipmentMaintenance of VRV/VRF air conditioning systemsWorking with refrigerants and ensuring safe handling of F-GasMonitoring plant and equipment performance and improving efficiencyUsing BMS systems to monitor and manage environmental conditionsCompleting maintenance records and documentation using a CAFM systemIdentifying and managing equipment risks and critical sparesCompleting and following Risk Assessments, Method Statements and PermitsLiaising with the onsite Supervisor, Account Manager and clientSupporting the wider maintenance team with mechanical and electrical expertiseSupervising subcontractors when requiredSupporting site Health and Safety requirementsRequirements:Strong HVAC maintenance experienceF-Gas qualificationVRV/VRF air conditioning experienceGood fault-finding skillsMulti-skilled mechanical/electrical experiencePPM and reactive maintenance experienceRelevant apprenticeship/City and Guilds qualificationIPAF/PASMA and BMS experience desirable Tech-People are a leading recruitment business within MandE and Construction.
