HVAC EngineerLocation: Northampton, NN9 6RJ Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Hours: 45 hours per week Start Date: 1 October 2026 End Date: 3 January 2027 PAYE Rate: 23.60 per hour Umbrella Rate: 30.73 per hourJob OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Engineer to join a site-based engineering team in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out HVAC-related duties while supporting the Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with general maintenance tasks across the site. A positive, professional and flexible "can-do" attitude is essential. The role will require someone who is comfortable working across a range of tasks and is willing to assist with basic electrical, plumbing and fabric maintenance when required.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out HVAC maintenance, servicing and repair duties across the site.Diagnose and resolve HVAC-related faults efficiently and professionally.Support the Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with day-to-day site maintenance.Assist with basic electrical maintenance tasks where required.Carry out basic plumbing tasks and general building maintenance.Assist with fabric maintenance and minor repairs.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and site requirements.Maintain accurate records of work completed where required.Work effectively as part of the engineering and facilities team.Demonstrate flexibility ..... full job details .....
