Job Specification: HVAC Field EngineerLocation: UK wideJob Type: PermanentHours: Mon-Fri, Days (Flexible start/Finish times)Salary: £45,000 + overtimeApprox 10 hours overtime per week The Role We are currently recruiting for a Product Support Engineer - HVAC to join an established team working across the UK rail industry. This is a hands-on role focused on the maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repair of HVAC systems across a range of rolling stock. You will work on a variety of rail vehicles and projects, including Class 158s, Class 174s, Mark 4s and other rolling stock. The role involves extensive UK-wide travel, with a significant amount of lodging away from home. The standard working week is 40 hours, with excellent opportunities for overtime. Engineers are currently averaging around 10 hours of overtime per week. Key Responsibilities Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on rolling stock HVAC systems Fault finding and diagnosing HVAC issues Servicing, repairing and replacing HVAC components Carrying out modifications and maintenance work on rail vehicles Working safely and efficiently at customer sites across the UK Completing maintenance documentation and reports Supporting a variety of rolling stock projects About You We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer with previous hands-on experience working with HVAC systems.
