They now have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join their team of 5 engineers in Hastings.

JOB PURPOSE
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites.
Servicing and repairing a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, FCUs.
Undertaking minor alterations and installations within technical competence in line with current specifications.
Ordering spares in accordance with procedures.
Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the HVAC Supervisor, with recommendations for replacement.
Completing planned store visits from 12- 15 stores, to carry out PPMs, reactive work, and minor repairs as requested by the customer.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Essential:
SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical/HVAC or equivalent.
ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A (minimum).
Desirable (not essential)
ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN, CENWAT, CPA.
City & Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.
City & Guilds 7671 18th Edition.
The Ideal Candidate
Flexible to join a 24/7 on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks).
Full driving licence.
Experience using a PDA system.
Willing to travel to up to 15 stores around Hastings and surrounding areas.
Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Experience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within a retail environment.
SALARY / BENEFITS
Salary: £47,752 (OTE £50,000+)
OTE: £50K+ (with overtime and standby payments)
On-call: £190 per week (1 in 4 rota)
Paid travel time, door to door.
Double time on weekends.
45 hours per week
