HVAC Engineer

HVAC Engineer- - Commercial Building - Wellingborough - Immediate start - -30.73 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in-Wellingborough. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a HVAC-Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.


Hours of work

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am to 17:00pm
• -30.73-per hour via Umbrella
• Contract type: temp to perm

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals and compressors.
• Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.
• Carry out basic chiller resets and fault finding.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and identify any plant issues.
• Ensure all maintenance records and logbooks are accurately completed.
• Escort specialist subcontractors when required.
• Provide technical support and assist fellow engineers across the portfolio.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

• Mechanically qualified with City & Guilds - Level 2-& 3
• City & Guilds 2079-11 (Category I F-Gas and ODS Regulations
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
