HVAC Service Engineer
Location: London & Home counties (field-based)
Salary: -48,000 - -55,000 (DOE) + Overtime & Call-Out (OTE -60k+)
Benefits: Company van, fuel card, paid travel time, overtime, call-out allowance, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

A well-established building services and facilities management contractor is looking to recruit an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join their growing London team, supporting a portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a stable business offering consistent work, strong earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine progression routes.

The Role

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC systems
• Fault-finding on electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
• Servicing and maintaining:
  • Split & multi-split systems
  • VRV / VRF systems
  • AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation equipment
  • Heat pumps and chillers (where applicable)
• Leak detection, pressure testing, evacuation, and recharging systems
• Completing service reports and F-Gas compliance documentation
• Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Working in line with F-Gas and Health & Safety regulations
• Taking part in an on-call rota (typically 1 in 6 / 1 in 8)

What We''re Looking For

Essential:

• 3+ years'' experience as an HVAC / AC Service Engineer
• F-Gas Category 1
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good understanding of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Experience with chillers, heat pumps, or ventilation systems
• 18th Edition (BS7671)
• IPAF / PASMA
