HVAC Service and Maintenance Engineer Location: Essex and North East LondonSalary: £42,000 - £47,000 per annum (depending on experience)Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmCall-Out: 1 in 10 / 1 in 11 rota, £125 standby payment per dayOvertime: Regular overtime available, paid at time-and-a-half (minimum 10-hour payment)Company Vehicle: Fuel card provided for business useHoliday: 33 Days Annual LeaveEquipment: Company van, laptop, tools and uniform provided The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an HVAC Service and Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and well-established building services business operating across Essex and North East London. This is a mobile role covering a portfolio of over 140 commercial sites, working with a range of prestigious blue-chip clients. The position is focused on service, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs, with no installation work involved. The successful candidate will work independently across a variety of sites, carrying out planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns on a range of HVAC equipment. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair HVAC and air conditioning equipment. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Work on VRV, VRF and chiller systems. Carry out pressure testing, fault diagnostics and PCB replacement.
