HV Service Engineer

Job Title: HV Protection EngineerRole Overview We are seeking an Electrical Power Protection Engineer to support the testing, commissioning, and validation of electrical power systems and protection equipment. This role ensures that new and refurbished electrical plant and protection systems operate safely and in full compliance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and operational requirements. The role involves a structured commissioning approach from individual component testing through to full system energization, ensuring system integrity during operation compliance. Working as part of a Mobile four-person team in London and surrounding area''s . Working week will involve sub inspections and non-intrusive works inspections over a diverse portfolio of buildings. Intrusive Maintenance will be planned and completed Out of Hours and incorporated in wages for fifteen maintenance activities over the year.Key ResponsibilitiesTest electrical power plant and protection systems across power generation, transmission, and distribution environmentsCarry out maintenance activities from component-level testing to full system energisationVerify that plant and equipment meet operational, safety, and performance standardsDiagnose faults, perform fault analysis, and implement corrective actionsMonitor system performance during initial operation and ensure reliabilityProduce and review technical documentation and commissioning reportsEnsure all activities are delivered ..... full job details .....
