Are you an experienced 11kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) looking to join a forward-thinking team driving the UK’s transition to net zero?

NEOS Engineering are partnered with a fast-growing electrical connections specialist delivering largescale grid connections nationwide. They’re looking for a motivated SAP to take ownership of HV networks, switching, and permitting across commercial, residential, and EV charging projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out HV and LV switching, isolation, earthing, point of work identification, and issue safety documentation across networks up to 11kV.
• Provide SAP services across multiple DNO and IDNO sites nationwide.
• Oversee private HV networks, delivering safe and efficient switching services.
• Support with hands-on maintenance activities, remedial works, and project delivery.
• Manage works across a range of environments including forecourts, residential developments, public buildings, and EV charging infrastructure.
• Ensure all work records and documentation are accurately maintained and submitted.

Requirements:

• Authorised as an 11kV SAP, with a valid DNO SAP certificate. (33kV desirable)
• 3+ years’ experience in HV networks, switching, and SAP responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge to support direct labour teams.
• Competent in testing, commissioning, and cable identification.
• Safety qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS (desirable).
• HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• EUSR card and Street Works qualification advantageous.
• Willingness to travel nationwide with some overnight stays.
