Responsibilities and duties of the HV jointer role Reporting to the engineering manager you will:Carry out terminations and jointing at 33kVTest and fault find where necessaryExcavate, shore, and prepare joint baysAdhere to strict health and safety site regulationsBe prepared to stay away most weeks Monday-Friday Professional qualifications No formal qualifications required but we are looking for someone with the following experience:3+ years experience jointing at 33kV or aboveStrong experience carrying out terminations and jointingExperience with underground/substation jointing is idealExperience working in new-build substation environments is ideal Personal skillsThe HV jointer role would suit someone who has: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in complex, fast-changing environmentsNo issue working in windy/rainy conditions when the time comesCollaborative, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck ..... full job details .....
