HV Energy Storage & Power Distribution Team Lead

The HV Energy Storage & Power Distribution Team Lead will provide technical and operational leadership across the development of high-voltage battery and power distribution systems. Acting as the bridge between customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams, you will oversee the delivery of electrification programmes while helping to shape future technical capability and team growth.
 
The HV Energy Storage & Power Distribution Team Lead will:

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers on Energy Storage and Power Distribution activities.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to customer expectations.
• Oversee the design, development, integration and testing of HV battery and power distribution systems.
• Coordinate technical activities, resource planning and project delivery across multiple programmes.
• Support customer requirements capture, technical reviews and business development activities.
• Support safety, quality and compliance activities, including DFMEA, root cause analysis and corrective actions.

 
The HV Energy Storage & Power Distribution Team Lead will have:

• A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in HV Battery, Energy Storage or Power Distribution system development.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex electrification programmes.
• Strong knowledge of battery systems, BMS architecture and HV safety concepts.
• Experience with battery integration, thermal management and vehicle electrification technologies.
• Understanding of automotive development standards and product development processes.
• Strong communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
