Electrical Design EngineerNorfolk Hybrid available post-probation Permanent Our client, a growing engineering specialist, is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work on projects spanning 11kV to 400kV for a range of clients. The RoleYou''ll take ownership of electrical designs from concept through to construction support, including: HV substation design across the 11kV-400kV rangeProtection and control system design, schematics and wiring diagramsCable schedules, sizing and earthing designEquipment specification (transformers, switchgear)Attending design reviews and client meetingsSupporting procurement and commissioning About You 5+ years'' experience in HV electrical design, ideally across 11kV-400kV substationsDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentSolid grounding in protection and control philosophyExperience with AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN (or similar)Confident liaising with clients and managing multiple work strands Desirable IEC knowledgerenewable energy or BESS project exposure.
