The HV Designer role offers a chance to work on a variety of high-voltage systems, from substations and transmission lines to distribution networks.Job Title: HV Designer Base Location: Remote in UK with occasional travel to Slough Hourly Rate: 25.64 - 34.48, depending on skills and experience, via PAYE or CIS Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) 3 month contract with possible extension Key Responsibilities of the HV Designer:Design high-voltage systems, including detailed engineering for LV to 33kV projectsConduct calculations and simulations to optimise system performance and cost-effectivenessLiaise with DNO/IDNO and ICP to obtain design approvalsManage the design process and support the customer throughout the project lifecycleSpecify technical and procurement items, including transformers, switchgear, and cablingCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate HV systems into larger projectsEnsure compliance with industry regulations and safety standardsQualifications and Experience Required:Degree or HND in a relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experienceProven experience in electrical distribution design, from LV up ..... full job details .....
