HV Design EngineerBristol 62-68 an hour12 Month Initial Contract Essential Skillset:Design HV and LV electrical systems for solar projectsProduce and review Single Line DiagramsManage grid connection applications and liaise directly with DNOsStrong understanding of Grid Code requirements including G99 and G100Specify primary plant including transformers, switchgear, protection systems, inverters, and meteringSupport protection design and relay settings in line with DNO requirementsReview and respond to DNO technical queries and connection offersProvide technical support through procurement, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and energisationEnsure compliance with BS, IEC, ENA standards and project-specific requirementsSupport design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering exercisesExperience with grid modelling tools such as ETAP or similarStrong experience within solar PV, renewables, or power generation sectorDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent ..... full job details .....
