Job Description:
anduuml;andnbsp; Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4 in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies
anduuml;andnbsp; Promotingandnbsp;critical thinking,andnbsp;cultural awareness, andandnbsp;independent learningandnbsp;through a rich and inclusive Humanities curriculum
anduuml;andnbsp; Usingandnbsp;data-driven assessmentandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform planning
anduuml;andnbsp; Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including trips, clubs, and themed days
anduuml;andnbsp; Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
anduuml;andnbsp; Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level, ideally up to GCSE (desirable but not essential)
anduuml;andnbsp; Be a reflective and innovative practitioner with strongandnbsp;behaviour managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;adaptive teachingandnbsp;strategies
anduuml;andnbsp; Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive educationandnbsp;andandnbsp;raising attainmentandnbsp;for all learners
anduuml;andnbsp; Be confident in usingandnbsp;technology-enhanced learningandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiated instruction
anduuml;andnbsp; Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
anduuml;andnbsp; Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
andnbsp;
