We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Thanet that is seeking a skilled Humanities Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a key appointment for the school, and an exciting opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about the Humanities and eager to contribute to a thriving department.

The Role:



  • Teach at least two Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 (e.g. History, Geography, Religious Studies)


  • Teach one Humanities subject to at least GCSE level


  • Inspire and challenge students through engaging, well-structured lessons


  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activities within the department


  • Support studentsandrsquo; academic and personal development in a supportive and high-achieving environment


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


  • The ability to teach multiple Humanities subjects with confidence


  • Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school


  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing young minds


  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
