Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in your subject area (History, Geography, or RE)
Teach across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience
Differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning needs
Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback
Prepare students for GCSE exams through focused teaching and revision
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
Uphold school behavior policies and manage classroom dynamics effectively
Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
Candidate Profile:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
A degree in a Humanities discipline (History, Geography, RE)
Experience teaching in secondary education
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to student safeguarding and well-being
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
