Role Overview:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in subjects such as history, religious studies, and social sciences. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team to create a dynamic learning environment that encourages students to explore the human experience.
Key Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher:
- Plan and deliver inclusive and creative humanities lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Promote student engagement through discussions, projects, and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to support individual development.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
- Uphold health and safety standards in all classroom and field activities.
Essential Qualifications for Humanities Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of verifiable references, including your most recent academic role.
- Proven experience teaching humanities subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for inspiring students and promoting a love of learning.
- Additional qualifications or training in humanities education are desirable but not essential.
