Role Overview:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in subjects such as history, religious studies, and social sciences. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team to create a dynamic learning environment that encourages students to explore the human experience.

Key Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive and creative humanities lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Promote student engagement through discussions, projects, and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to support individual development.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in all classroom and field activities.

Essential Qualifications for Humanities Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of verifiable references, including your most recent academic role.
  • Proven experience teaching humanities subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for inspiring students and promoting a love of learning.
  • Additional qualifications or training in humanities education are desirable but not essential.
