We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Humanities Teacher to join our dynamic team at our secondary schools in Brentwood. As a Humanities Teacher, you will inspire and educate students across various subjects, including history, geography, and social studies, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of human societies and cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

  • Utilize creative teaching methods to make learning accessible and enjoyable for students.

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants to facilitate learning and provide additional support as needed.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level.

  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
