Supply Desk is working exclusively with a well-regarded secondary school in Brighton, seeking a reliable and passionate Humanities Teacher to cover lessons across KS3 and KS4.
This opportunity offers both short-term daily cover and long-term placements, perfect for an adaptable teacher wanting to work within a supportive and friendly school community.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons (History, Geography, RE) to KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive classroom environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Complete planning, marking, and assessment for longer-term assignments
- Collaborate with the Humanities department and wider school staff
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desired but not essential)
- Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
- Strong classroom management skills and flexibility
- Commitment to inspiring students and supporting their progress
