are seeking an experienced
HR Assistant
for a manufacturing client based in Wakefield on a
15 month fixed-term contract
on a
full-time basis .Reporting into the HR Manager, you’ll provide crucial support to the site HR function, working closely with managers to assist with HR administration, employee matters, support on recruitment as well as helping to manage HR projects.Responsibilities
Onboarding new starters including contracts, reference requests and ensuring right to work documentation is correctSupporting with recruitment by advertising and arranging interviews and assessment centresUpdating employee attendance records, disciplinary and grievance and performance matters in line with company proceduresAssisting with the maintenance of the Time and Attendance systemMonitoring sickness and absence and advising on return to work processesNote taking in meetings in relation to Employee RelationsPayroll administration tasks including inputting of data to the payroll systemBenefits
