Human Factors EngineerBAE Systems, ChristchurchDuration: 12 monthsHourly Rate: £57 PAYE or £76.98 UmbrellaWorking Arrangements: Hybrid Working: Minimum 3 days per week on-sitePlease note that due to the security requirements of this role, you have to be a sole UK National.Key Responsibilities Support the lead Human Factors specialist in integrating Human Factors across the TRINITY design programmeFacilitate workshops, trials and User-Centred Design activities with end users and key stakeholdersAssess Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment against system requirements and user needsEvaluate prototypes and mock-ups of hardware and software solutionsConduct Human Factors analyses including: Task AnalysisHuman Error AnalysisUsability AssessmentsWorkload AssessmentsPerform anthropometric assessments and support workspace/workstation design activitiesSupport integration testing and verification activitiesProduce technical reports and contribute to customer deliverablesCollaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering environment to support system development and integration About You To be considered, you''ll ideally have:A Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, Engineering or a related disciplineRegistered membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF), or eligibility to achieve Chartered statusA minimum of 5 years'' experience applying Human Factors methodologies within Defence or another safety-critical ..... full job details .....
