HSEQ Officer - Permanent - Hull - Competitive salaryThis is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading shipping company based near the Humber.In this role you will assist the HSEQ Manager with the development and implementation of the HSEQ plan based on the corporate HSEQ strategyResponsibilities include:Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through vessel visitsListening and engaging with vessel crew to understand where safe work is difficult and working with the HSEQ and other departmental managers to find solutionsCoordinate, conduct and manage the internal ISM audit scheduleBuild strong relationships with all employees and be confident to highlight areas of non- compliance with the HSEQ policies and proceduresGather and analyse statistical data as required but the HSEQ ManagerAnswer general HSEQ related enquires from vessels and managersExperience Required:Some seagoing experience is preferred, with STCW certification and/or small vessel experienceBasic knowledge of ISM and ISO 9001 / 14001Able to provide coaching / training to colleagues on safety mattersBe good under pressure and able to stand up for the right course of actionA good communicator who can deliver a message clearly and effectivelyYou must have the right to work in the UK to be considered and hold a full UK drivers license.To apply, please contact Tom Settle on (phone number removed) or send your CV to (url removed)Navis Consulting; Keeping your career on course.Navis is acting as an ..... full job details .....
