Position: HSEQ Manager

Location: Ellesmere, Shropshire

HSEQ Manager required. Our client is a growing manufacturing business seeking an experienced HSE or Quality professional to take responsibility for HSEQ processes and procedures across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong HSE or Quality background who is looking to take the next step in their career.

HSEQ Manager Position Overview

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day HSEQ processes and procedures
• Maintaining and developing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standards
• Carrying out audits, inspections and investigations where required
• Supporting and maintaining the company''s Quality Management System
• Supporting ISO 9001 compliance and auditing activities
• Identifying opportunities to improve HSEQ processes and procedures
• Implementing corrective and preventative actions where required
• Promoting high standards of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance
• Working independently and taking ownership of the HSEQ function
• Supporting the continued growth and development of the business

HSEQ Manager Position Requirements

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is essential
• Previous HSE/HSEQ experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience within a Quality role would be advantageous
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, with auditing experience desirable
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation, processes and procedures
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Proactive approach with a desire to develop and improve HSEQ standards
• Suitable for an experienced HSE/Quality professional looking to step up into an HSEQ management position
• Based in a commutable distance of Ellesmere, Shropshire

HSEQ Manager Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary
• Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00. Friday 08:30 - 14:00
• Company Pension
