HSEQ Advisor

HSEQ Advisor - Are you a Group Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor? We are seeking someone with HSEQ experience to work with a successful Health & Safety Consultancy providing proactive and engaging nationwide support to businesses in regards to Health & Safety Compliance.
The successful candidate will conduct construction safety audits/inspections to ensure health and safety legislation compliance. You will support the HSEQ Manager in establishing and maintaining the highest HSEQ standards for the business. This role involves frequent travel to sites so candidates must be open to travelling.
Your Role:
- Advise, guide and coach all employees with the implementation of the Company procedures and policies.
- Advise on all current occupational SHE legislation.
- Conduct SHEQ inspections, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and policies.
- Assist the Site Team to improve SHEQ performance on site.
- Carry out investigations into accidents/incidents as instructed by the SHEQ Manager.
- Maintain/promote liaison with officials and professional bodies (e.g. HSE, ROSPA, IOSH, BSI, EA etc).
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Report to the SHEQ Manager on legal/regulatory compliance and non-compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality system and suggest/promote ways of improving performance.
- Complete the necessary SHEQ training and obtain the relevant professional qualifications.
- Facilitate the SHEQ training and ''face fit'' training on site as and when required.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate
- NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice is essential.
- Associate Member of IEMA is desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, 49001 is desirable.
- Travel is required / overnight stays occasionally.
Offer:
- Salary 40k per annum.

- Monday - Friday 39 Hours per week.
