EHandS Supervisor Location: Ashton/Tipton, UK Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30am 4:30pm, 37.5 hours per week Job Type: Permanent Are you an experienced EHS, HSE, QHSE or Health and Safety professional looking for a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment? We are currently recruiting for an EHandS Supervisor to provide leadership and tactical support across two manufacturing sites in Ashton and Tipton. This is a hands-on position focused on maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance while driving continuous improvement and developing a strong EHS culture. The Role Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the site''s Environmental, Health and Safety programmes. You will play a key role in: Ensuring compliance with UK EHS legislation and regulatory requirements. Developing and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Conducting site inspections, audits, SMATs and cold-eye reviews. Identifying risks and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions. Supporting incident investigations and identifying root causes. Developing and delivering EHS training to employees, supervisors and contractors. Coaching and mentoring line management on EHS matters. Developing short- and long-term EHS strategies and monitoring performance through KPIs. Driving continuous improvement and developing an autonomous EHS culture. Maintaining EHS procedures, policies and compliance documentation. ..... full job details .....
