HSE Officer

We are recruiting for an experienced HSE Officer to join an established and growing organisation operating within a highly regulated, project-led environment.This is a varied role for a proactive Health, Safety and Environmental professional who enjoys working closely with operational and site teams to promote a positive safety culture, manage risk and drive continuous improvement. Title: HSE OfficerLocation: Remote working role, with occasional travel to Reading and Manchester officesSalary: 37,000 - 40,000 DOE, plus car allowance and benefits Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery of HSandE policies, procedures and management systemsMonitor compliance, identify risks and support corrective actionsInvestigate accidents, incidents and near missesConduct site inspections and auditsSupport ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, including auditsAssist with SSIP/PQQ submissions and compliance documentationDevelop and deliver HSandE communications and support training initiativesMaintain risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work and other documentationProduce reports, maintain accurate records and analyse HSandE performanceProvide practical guidance and support to operational teams, clients and subcontractors Skills and Experience:At least three years'' experience in a construction/CDM health and safety environmentStrong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislationExperience in incident investigation and risk managementExperience supporting ISO ..... full job details .....
