HSE Manager Location: Rotherham Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 DOE Contract: Full-time, permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, Full time.This is a role for someone who knows how to keep people safe while keeping operations moving. If you re an HSE Manager who understands manufacturing and knows how to work with production, not against it, this is worth a look. You ll be joining a large, well-established manufacturing site in Rotherham, supporting a range of industries including defence, construction and heavy engineering. It s a busy environment with a lot going on, and your role will be to bring structure, consistency and improvement to health, safety and environmental practices across the site. What the role looks like day to day: You ll be working across site with managers, engineers and operators to make sure standards are met, risks are controlled, and issues are dealt with properly. This is about applying standards in a practical way, balancing compliance with the realities of a busy production environment. What you will be doing: Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation. Carrying out risk assessments including PUWER and COSHH. Leading internal audits and safety reviews. Investigating incidents and using data to drive improvements. Developing and maintaining safe systems of work and permits to work.
