HSE Manager

We''re looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join a major data centre construction project, taking ownership of health, safety and environmental performance across a fast-paced, high-specification site.This is a hands-on role for someone who knows construction, understands the pressure of delivering critical infrastructure, and has the confidence to challenge when standards aren''t good enough.What you''ll be doing:Own and drive the site HSE strategy and performanceLead a proactive safety culture across contractors and project teamsIdentify risk, challenge unsafe practices and make things happenManage inspections, audits, RAMS, incident investigations and reportingWork closely with the Project and Construction teams to deliver safely and efficientlyEnsure compliance with legislation, client standards and project requirementsEngage, coach and influence everyone from site operatives to senior leadershipWhat we''re looking for:Proven HSE experience within major construction projectsExperience working on data centres, critical infrastructure, MEP or similarly complex environments is highly desirableStrong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and construction standardsNEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE qualificationExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsSomeone who is visible, practical and confident enough to challenge the status quoThe opportunity:This is more than a box-ticking HSE role.
