This is a hands-on, shopfloor-focused role with responsibility for driving HSE standards, compliance and safety culture across manufacturing, assembly, warehouse/logistics and maintenance operations.   Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver the site HSE strategy and improvement plan. Provide visible safety leadership and coach managers and employees. Maintain and improve the  ISO 45001  management system. Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation, including PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, MHSWR and Fire Safety. Lead risk assessments, audits, inspections and corrective actions. Oversee machinery safety, LOTO, manual handling, FLT/pedestrian safety and contractor controls. Lead accident and near-miss investigations and drive sustainable corrective actions.
