HSE Manager - Wigan

Do you have experience working within a production environment? Are you looking for a long-term role with clear paths for progression? Then this chemical company looking to add a HSE Manager to the team is looking for you!

Your duties as the HSE Manager include but are not limited to the following:

• Organizing all required HSE training for relevant site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations by developing, implementing and managing safety programs.
• Implementing, communicating and reviewing internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinating and leading all site safety committee activities.
• Assisting the Process Safety team in all process hazard assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) as required under COMAH regulations.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• NEBOSH Level 3 or higher certificate.
• Demonstrable experience in the completion and management of process hazard and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of relevant ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001)
