HSE Manager

An established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, hygiene and environmental compliance at a large operational site in Rotherham. The Role Full responsibility for site based health, safety, hygiene and environmental management Ensuring compliance with all relevant UK legislation, regulations and best practice Driving continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance Acting as the principal HSE lead for audits, regulators and external stakeholders Managing and developing onsite HSE systems, policies and procedures Providing leadership, training and guidance across all levels of the business Managing investigations into incidents, accidents and near misses Producing regular site level HSE and environmental performance reports Maintaining ISO 14001 accreditation and supporting internal and external audits Key Responsibilities Lead risk assessments, COSHH, SSOW and permits to work Partner with production and engineering teams on equipment, machinery and process risk Chair and lead monthly HSE meetings and action plans Manage HSE induction and ongoing training programmes Oversee waste management, recycling programmes and environmental compliance Support carbon footprint and sustainability reporting through KPIs Manage documentation, certifications and statutory records Ideal Candidate Proven HSE management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong working knowledge of UK HSE ..... full job details .....
