HSE Manager

I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced HSE Manager to join their team based at Osprey Quay in Portland, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished HSE Manager to take ownership of the Health, Safety and Environmental function across a diverse engineering business operating within manufacturing, warehouse, office and project environments. The successful HSE Manager will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company''s Integrated Management System (IMS), driving continuous improvement, ensuring legislative compliance and supporting both UK and overseas project operations. As the successful HSE Manager, you will lead the development of a proactive safety culture while providing expert guidance across all areas of the business. You will work closely with managers, project teams and operational departments to ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards remain at the highest level. The HSE Manager will be responsible for:Leading, maintaining and continuously improving Health, Safety and Environmental systems across office, engineering, manufacturing, warehouse and project environments.Ensuring compliance with all relevant UK Health and Safety legislation including HSWA, MHSWR, CDM Regulations, COSHH, PUWER and LOLER.Maintaining and developing management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.Providing competent HSE advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees.Leading and supporting risk assessments across ..... full job details .....
