HSE Manager

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental compliance within a manufacturing environment.You will be responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risks and promoting a proactive, safety-first culture. Working closely with management and operational teams, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure high standards across the business.Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and management systems.Conduct risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections, ensuring corrective actions are completed.Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and preventative measures.Develop and deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness programmes.Coordinate emergency response plans, fire safety, first aid provision and emergency drills.Monitor HSE performance, analyse incident trends and report on key performance indicators.Manage contractor safety and maintain relevant compliance documentation.Coach and support managers and colleagues to embed a positive safety culture.Drive continuous improvement across health, safety and environmental performance.
