HSE Manager

Astute''s EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit a HSE Manager on a 6 month contract basis for its Waste to Energy facility based in Ellesmere Port. The HSE Manager role comes with a day rate from 550.00 to 600.00 per day.Key skills and responsibilities:The ability to establish a rapport with all levels of management and safety representatives.Work closely with the HSE advisors on site, to maintain a safe environment across the project.Able to carry out effective investigations, audits, inspections and compile reports and recommendations as appropriate.To carry out audits of safe working procedures. Be able to write permits.Monitoring legislative and policy changes and their impact on our organisation its members and the industry as a wholePC literate with a good level of spreadsheet knowledge.Strong ability to influence others.Ability to understand the key issues in complex situations.Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize workload and meet targets.IOSH accreditation (chartered level preferred).
